Giving Tuesday 2025
A Giving Tuesday reminder: The world doesn’t change because a few people do something big. It changes because a lot of people decide to do something. Today is a chance to put your values in action ….generosity, impact, and legacy. If you’ve been blessed this year, we would appreciate it if you would be a blessing to us today by donating here: https://www.thekindkids.org/support
The Hustle and Bustle…
The "hustle and bustle" of holiday shopping brought about some very interesting and heartfelt conversations, while sharing and signing my books at Joint Base Fort Myer and Henderson Hall. The Main Exchange at the U.S. Marine Corps Base, Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia always welcomes families and friends from near and far, and I am grateful for being a part of the fun and sharing my books with such incredible individuals! 🎄❤️🇺🇸📚 Glenna ❤️ December 1, 2025
From our Toys for Tots family to yours—Happy Thanksgiving!
Glenna, on this day of gratitude, we want you to know how much your support means. Because of you, millions of children across the Nation will experience joy and hope this Christmas. As you gather around the table today, families you’ll never meet are also giving thanks—for donors like you who make their celebrations possible. They don’t know your names, but they know your kindness. This year, your compassion delivers more than toys and books. It delivers smiles, laughter, an

Catching up on Conversation
An evening of "catching up conversation" and lots of laughs, was on hand with our our Grandson, Charlie! Sharing some of our favorite cuisine and discussing plans for Charlie competing at the forthcoming International Table Tennis Tournament at National Harbor Resort during the Thanksgiving Holiday was all part of the evening fun. Charlie has been a terrific team player at this particular annual event in years past, and loved the experiences. Other family traditions and ad

The season of Autumn in Western North Carolina is unforgettable. The Blue Ridge Mountains are majestic and the colorful Fall foliage is always at its best during this time of the year.
