The Calm before the Storm

The calm before the rain and wind storms here in Hayesville, NC was spent at a nearby farm and stables in "Shooting Creek" with my good friend, Maria and her beautiful mares, Wind and Belle.  This picturesque place is also home to Bella, a young and very rambunctious 4 month old Great Pierineese puppy.  All part of country living in Western, North Carolina!
