For years, quite a few, I have been learning first-hand about the World War II Era from my dear friends who have and are presently residing at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington D.C. The World War II Veterans that I have come to know like family have shared with me, both their personal and professional experiences...and for that I will be forever grateful. And, these very same friends of mine, who have personally visited and are a part of The National WWII Museum, New Orleans, inspired myself and members of my family to visit this incredible site. The National World War II Museum, New Orleans is like no other historical presentation that I have personally viewed. The photos that I am sharing are a glimpse of a very special place of learning that has left an everlasting impression with myself and my family. As we were collectively and individually touring this phenomenal museum, I was wishing that every young adult could have the opportunity to visit the National World War II Museum, New Orleans...it would certainly be a life-changing experience.
