Books in Full Swing!

My Book Club at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington D.C. was in full swing as we wrapped up our discussions for "Destiny of the Republic," authored by Candice Millard. Our literary buffs rather enjoyed Ms. Millard's detailed writings about our 20th President of this United States of America, James Abram Garfield.

As we begin to read "Churchill & Orwell, The Fight For Freedom," written by Thomas E. Rick's, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, I am certain that our Book Club will yet again be captivated by both of these history makers, George Orwell and Winston Churchill.
