It's not very often that one can resume a special initiative/activity after a little more than 15 months of a pause( a COVID pause at that) and feel as if time had been standing still. On Wednesday, June 16, my Book Club at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington, DC reunited for friendship and for the love of Reading and discussing great books. Our current read is "A Wicked War," written by Amy S. Greenberg. I am so grateful to spending my Wednesday's with these remarkable veterans!
