Recently, while meeting with my beloved Book Club at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington DC, I was able to have a visit with my dear friend, Harry F. Miller, SMSgt USAF(retired). Harry is a character in two of the books that I have written, "Remembering With The Heart, Stories by America's Finest" and "Music In Our Hearts, The Songs of America" and in both of these award winning manuscripts, Harry has graciously shared his experiences while serving in the U.S. Army 740th Tank Batallion, Battle of the Bulge, Rhineland and Central Europe, HQ Far East Command, Korean War USAF, and HQ Strategic Air Command, Vietnam. I am so very grateful that Harry has agreed to be a character in my forthcoming book and to once again share his lovely generosity of spirit. I have been writing this Eighth book for six years. It's a presentation that will delight readers, touch their hearts, and remind them of the many goodly initiatives that they themselves have accomplished in their very own lifetimes-whether they are at the beginning of their lives or reflecting on years of memories of their own life-long journey's. It's an Intergenerational story that is representative of years of facilitating partnerships between school-aged children and those individuals who are residing in retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Yet to be titled, this book is beautifully illustrated and will be introduced in May, 2024. All of those individuals affiliated with this delightful and heartfelt book are super excited for its introduction in May. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks!
