We Love Thank You Notes!

So uplifting to receive handwritten notes from my dear friends who reside at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington, D.C. Just prior to Valentine's Day, I delivered gift bags to my book club members and they were delighted with sweet treats and additional surprises. Marion Marques, a United States Air Force veteran who served as a "Code Girl" during the Cold War, is such a brilliant, wise, and goodly woman. During our weekly book club meetings, our members could certainly expect an intriguing history lesson from our Marion. I am so very proud to know Marion Marques, and to call her my friend.
