Summer Pause

My Book Club at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington, D.C. is pausing for the summer time. We have had such an extraordinary year of reading interesting and thought provoking books that have brought about wonderful conversations, laughter, and learning. While sharing our thoughts about the many books we have read, enjoying tasty treats, and discussing our summer plans, we yet again spoke about how fortunate we are to be a part of such an exceptional group of literary buffs! And, my gift to my veteran friends of summer reading bags will be enjoyed and their love of reading will continue on.
