RIF Nova and the Promotion of Life Long Learning

Being an educator for well over half of my life has been both fulfilling and always a profession that is a "a work in progress. " Along the way I have been most fortunate to become a board member of Reading Is Fundamental of Northern Virginia. Providing books to children to promote life long learning is what RIF of NOVA does best! Recently, at a RIF Celebration my RIF of NOVA colleagues payed tribute to myself and the Alexandria City Public Schools that I work with on behalf RIF of NOVA. For 50 years, Reading Is Fundamental of Northern Virginia has been serving communities and putting books into the hands of those needing them. Here's to 50 more years of promoting literacy all for the love of reading.
