New Book Selection - The Path Between The Seas

Dear Trusty Book Club Members of our fine literary group at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington, DC, I am enjoying David McCullough's "The Path Between The Seas, The Creation of the Panama Canal 1870-1914." Author David McCullough has taught us beautifully in years past when we read together, "1776," "The Wright Brothers," "The Pioneers," and "The Greater Journey." And, our current read, "The Path Between The Seas" is certainly a wonderful book! I am especially grateful to be co-chairing our Book Club at AFRH with Diane Marshall, a new resident to AFRH, and a very seasoned and knowledgeable book club facilitator!
