Memorial Day at the World War II Memorial, May 24, 2025

Such an honor to pay tribute to our World War II Veterans at the World War II Memorial, Washington D.C.  My dear friend, Harry F. Miller, SMSgt USAF(retired) U.S. Army 740th Tank Battalion, Battle Of The Bulge, Rhineland and Central Europe, HQ Far East Command, Korean War USAF, HQ Strategic Air Command, Vietnam was present alongside his fellow veterans who selflessly served in WWII.  This beautiful morning program reminded those of us that were present, of the 405,399 Americans that lost their lives and those missing from World War II.  A note of thanks to the Friends of the National World War II Memorial and the National Park Service for facilitating meaningful ceremonies and impactful educational programs that preserve the legacy of the Greatest Generation and World War II.
