Fall Break

Our grandson Charlie's Fall Break from Western Carolina University was a week of home-cooked meals, sleeping in, appointments to keep, fun, and outdoor activities that are meant to be enjoyed during this beautiful month of October. Our all day outing to the historic Tapoco Lodge, Robbinsville, North Carolina was an especially unique surprise. This historic lodge established in 1930, is an international vacation spot where adventure and sanctuary meet. The scenic drive to the Tapoco Lodge was truly a glorious visit with nature. So grateful for our time together.
