AFRH: Book Club

Our Book Club at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington D.C. has been throughly enjoying reading and discussing "A Higher Call," an incredible true story of combat and chivalry in the war-torn skies of World War II. Author, Adam Makos with Larry Alexander has written a captivating non-fiction presentation about the brotherhood of warriors, and how the human spirit is uplifted even during the darkest times of war. Our trusty Book Club members will surely keep this beautifully written WWII story in our hearts and minds for quite some time!
