AFRH: An Afternoon of Sharing A Great Book and Sharing Bountiful Friendships

Our Wednesday Book Club Meeting November 17th, at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington D.C. was an afternoon of sharing our thoughts on a great book, "The Boys In The Boat, Nine American Oarsmen, and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics," and sharing our bountiful friendships for one another.

My dear friend Norma Gene Rambow (shown here with me) continues to be an inspiration for so many...she is remarkable!

Christine Baldwin, Librarian at AFRH (shown here with me) is tireless in her quests to improve the lives of the residents at AFRH in so many ways...and Christine is "gearing up" to be yet again, Mrs. Claus for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Home! Can't wait to attend this beautiful celebration at the Home.

My life has been so blessed to know these veterans, America's Finest, my dear friends, and for this I am grateful.
