A Visit With My Dear Friend

A late afternoon visit with my dear friend, Harry F. Miller at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington D.C. was as delightful as can be.  This phenomenal World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veteran had spent most of the day with his fellow veterans at Arlington Cemetary, Tomb The Unknown Soldier, laying a wreath and paying tribute.  Harry, being a character in several of my books, was so happy that "Giving With The Heart, An Intergenerational Story" our most recent collaboration was honored with a "Gold Level One" award by the wonderful Mom's Choice Awards Organization.  So looking forward to future book collaborations and goodly visits with this dear friend of mine.
