A New Year, New Books

A New Year and our Book Club at the Armed Forces Retirement Home has a line-up of extraordinary books to read.  We are presently reading author, Lynne Olson's book, "Citizens of London, The American's Who Stood With Britain In Its Darkest, Finest Hour."  This selection is proving to become a favorite of our Book Club.  Although our Book Club has read quite a few books about this very subject, Olson's presentation is teaching us so much more.  Also included in our forthcoming line-up of great reads, is "The Longest Winter:  The Battle of the Bulge," written by Alex Kershaw, and Robert Kurson's saga, "Shadow Divers, The True Adventure of Two Americans Who Risked Everything to Solve One of the Last Mysteries of World War II."  My trusty Book Club at AFRH is always on the look-out for interesting and captivating books to read, and we would so enjoy hearing from you in regards to your favorite titles.  Happy reading and we hope to hear from you!
