Wednesday Afternoon Follies at AFRHM with my Book Club

Our Book Club at The Armed Forces Retirement Home, Washington, D.C. has been reading "The Alice Network," written by Kate Quinn, and "The Nightingale," authored by Kristin Hannah. Both of these historical fiction presentations have brought about reflection and personal thoughts from our veterans, about times of The Great War and WWII.

After book discussions and enjoying tasty treats during our Wednesday gathering, some of our members decided to partake in some afternoon follies. So grateful to be learning and having fun with such wonderful people!
