Preparing Gift Bags for Carpenter's Shelter

It was a team effort to assemble 30 gift bags for the children residing at Carpenter's Shelter, Alexandria, Virginia. Myself and grandson Charlie volunteered to donate, to shop for Easter goodies, and to assemble the festive gift bags on behalf of our neighoring church, Saint Rita Catholic Church. On many previous occasions, Charlie has helped me with donations for Carpenter's. For the past several months in particular, I have had this trusty volunteer by my side. Charlie's decision to reside at our home and complete his senior year of high school online, has been the best! We are looking onward to a bright future that holds many possibilities...
