Finally resuming AFRH book club!

ree

Dear Armed Forces Retirement Home Book Club Friends,

As we have said so long to summer, and are welcoming the season of fall, we begin another chapter with our phenomenal book club!  And even though we remain unable to meet in person due to COVID-19, our telephone calls, our text messages, and our emails to one another will keep our reading alive and well.

I am excited that the members of our book club have selected "The Allies," written by Winston Groom to kick off yet another year of learning and reading together.  For the past five years we have read some of the most remarkable accounts of history, and I believe "The Allies" will prove to be much of the same.

I will be sending you my writing for Chapters 1-5 for "The Allies," and I am looking forward to learning your thoughts on the lives and times of Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt, and Josif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili, known to the world as Stalin.

Stay tuned and be well-

Glenna
