A journey with the ages
Seniors and children, children and seniors--together. What a nice picture this makes, seeing both of these groups spending time together, sharing smiles. Imagine them together having fun, laughing, telling stories, singing songs, working on simple crafts, reading to each other. Think about the significance of this fun time shared between two groups of wonderful people--knowing that each has so much to learn from the other.
What began more than 20 years ago as a simple teaching career has become my lifelong journey. This book is a collection of memories about events in time when intergenerational programs were created to bring together two distinct groups of people at very different stages of life: those who were just beginning their journeys and those who had a lifetime of experiences to share.
